Website Lessons Learned Review

Overview

The current Scottish Police Authority website was launched in October 2023 with the aim of modernising the Authority’s web presence and making our information more accessible and engaging to the public and external stakeholders.

Two years on we are looking to review the website, both in terms of structure and content, and how we manage updates across the wider staff team. We are seeking feedback on related processes and existing guidance to ensure this is fit for purpose and supports our approach to everyone having responsibility for website content.

We are also reviewing whether the original aims and objectives of the new website have been met, and/or whether they need to be refined. This includes considering how the website aligns with our agreed approach to Plain English and accessibility.

To do this we would like to ask you to take a few minutes to answer the following questions. You can do so anonymously so please be honest and provide any feedback that you think will enable improvements.

Alongside this survey we will also be looking at analytics to build our understanding of the most accessed areas of the site, to get a complete picture of how our current website is working and where we should focus any improvements.

What happens next

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey!

The feedback received will help inform a lessons learned workshop that will look in more detail at what is working well with our website and what we can do to improve.
